Never thought I would add one of these to my collection - but here she is!
Needs complete restoration, but is fully working. Love playing this game in a cockpit!
Planning to do a restore as soon as the art becomes available..

Nice ROTJ and Empire back there too. ;)

Awesome. My favorite cabinet. This one game is the reason I ever got into the hobby.

sw cp

i hate to see these sw cockpit threads. because i know i will have to join this expensive club, i cant help myself, but this is the one game i really have to have for 2013. nice pick up! looks good with the esb and the rotj. i like this trio along with tron, dot, tron pinball.
congrats!

There is a 25 inch monitor in it - artwork has some scrapes etc.. Overall cosmetic stuff. Its one game that you want looking 100%

I bought my project missing the monitor, but it was working blind. The previous owner kept the 6100 that was in it as part of the deal. In an effort to put it back like it once was, and build a monitor for it, I got a non-working deflection board to rebuild, repro Amp HV and neck board PCBs, yoke, and an NOS 25" proper tube for it, though you could use a thrift store tube I imagine. I imagine the hardest part to find is actually the yoke, which is the same as the 6100 yoke.

Is there a 25" 6100 setup in it?

yes. I know everyone wants the ampliphone. I will find one sometime. In the meantime its still a SW Cockpit

No, it's really awesome that you found one, and the cabinet looks to be in much better condition than mine. My point was that you can piece together the parts to do a 25" Amp, if you're willing to do the convergence, etc. Congrats!

The cockpit is super cool to have in the collection...totally different experience in terms of gameplay IMO. I lucked out with mine..it was in super shape with original 25" Amp..I had my buddy who is well versed in vectors go over the entire monitor and boards just in case..I have the ESB kit installed too...

I would love to modify the speakers and put a woofer under seat...maybe a surround sound type deal inside...that would even better add to the experience...:D

Welcome to the club. Looks to be in nice shape. It was the elusive SWCP that really got me into this addiction.

And if you ever want to get rid of the ROTJ -- give me a ring ;)

I wish I had room for cockpits but I don't. That said I think this is a great looking one and I hope you have fun with it ^^
