Star Wars cockpit sells on EBay 8K!

Makes you wonder what the Bay Area HUO Prototype would have gone for if time was taken to prep it for sale on Ebay.

This is what I felt when the announcement was made That it was for sale? That was a hell of a score if you ask me.

there is an ASS for every seat. this proves it. and we were all laughing at this guy. dont know if the seller got paid though.

My Cockpit sold for 10k last year and my Kiss pinball sold for 15k last month

if my old HUO cockpit was so special , how come i could not sell it for like 6 weeks ? Apparently no one wanted mine that bad . Plus it had a 25" AMP . What the hell ? I was only asking 2500.00 . 8K , someone has deep pockets ..lol.

Apparently you should have put it up on ebay and offered shipping.

Cockpit

Wow! I bought this prototype about ten years ago and belonged to an Atari employee. The differences I can see is the sideart being dark blue and missing the grids. The top plexi is a one piece apposed to two. Top decals are silkscreened and not your normal sticker type decal. The three starfighters in formation do not have the normal curving contail or jet stream. Has anyone seen another Atari cockpit prototype? Sorry about the pictures, I used my camera phone.

Cockpit

It has the 25 inch amp. Bought this along with a Firefox cockpit and Space Duel which are long gone. As far as documentation all I got were copies of technical data or your typical manual. Of all things the door was missing when I bought it. When I went to get it fixed the technician told me the differences between mine and the regular cockpits.
