Star Wars cockpit (kind of) Ebay -not mine

I threw out an offer of $500 and got an automatic decline. Oh well. Just out of curiosity, am I that far off? I know ROTJ isn't as popular as the first 2 games and I can't imagine the cabinet makes that much of a difference.

Now this cracks me up in their description. Does anyone see a contradiction here?

First paragraph:
Theit is a sound problem as you can only hear some of the sounds.

Next paragraph:
We make sure each game works 100% before we list them. All buttons, track ball, monitor are all checked and have to pass our high standard.

......?
Well, at least the trackball will be working right.

You guys do know that there was a limited number of Return of the Jedi's that were released in the cockpit cabinet from the factory.....

The question for me was what are the ROTJ parts worth. Obviously at $1500 it would be insanely foolish to try and turn it back into a Star Wars without being in way over your head. The ROTJ board would be the most valuable part of the game. Off the top of my head you'd have say $250 in parts you could sell so that leaves you at $1250 for a largely empty cab. Now if these factory ROTJ cockpits are really worth that much I stand corrected. I'm not slamming the seller as I've had good dealings with him before. It just seems way high to me at least from the standpoint of converting it back. I've never seen one of these factory conversions in person, but just from what I know of the game compared to the others, I don't see the value. My 2 cents.

As opposed to the *unlimited* number of uprights they made.... ;-)

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

I've actually wanted a cockpit ROTJ for a long time. Oh, if only I had an extra pile of money at the moment...

There are less than 50 dedicated ROTJ cockpits out there.

I have 1.

I wouldn't sell it for the $1500 either. Bump the price up, I may think about it! :D
