Star Wars Cockpit HUO???

SORRY, they said purchased new and in two private homes only. Wasn't trying to stir up something.

I agree, looks like too much wear for a HUO game......

I'd need to see a receipt to believe it.

Just ask if it's HUO and if he could prove it and you would have gotten this response:

"I do not. I got the unit from Jim Davis (Cartoonist – Garfield the cat) when I worked for him at his company Paws Inc approximately 11 years ago. I have known Jim for a very long time. I know personally that Jim purchased the unit new for his home game room. From there I took it directly to my home office where it has been since.

I can prove that I worked for Jim at Paws, (biz cards, etc), but that is about it.

I have photos and video of the unit if you would like to see it. It has a few scratches here and there, and I am missing the coin slot keys. The coin op section is unlocked, and since Jim and I used it for personal use we never used coins… The only other issue that I am aware of is that the monitor possibly needs degaussing. I was told by a dealer that was also interested in the unit. He looked at the pix and videos and said the color was off. I can't really say, as I am not a vintage arcade tech, and I am also color blind.

Let me know if you need links to the pix and video.

Thanks

Eric Buchanan"

Huo star wars

It is an HUO game. I have seen it. I made an offer on it but the guy was trying to squeeze me for more money so I passed for now. It has a real cool back story that proves it is HUO. Actually Office use only.

I kinda like the fact that it was owned by Jim Davis. I mean who isn't a fan of Garfield. If the guy could get a signed letter from Jim..then he could get the money he wants.

Isn't Jim Davis dead?

Guess not, who's the comic guy that died not too long ago? Was that the Charlie Brown guy?

Just because a game is used in a home only does not mean that it was treated kindly. A HUO game can be truly HUO and still be beat to hell. of course home use only or not a game that is beat up is worth less than a nice condition game.

You mean Charles M. Schulz, the creator of Peanuts? He died almost 10 years ago. He is hands down the most famous animator of all time.

Jim Davis is still alive, and running the Garfield empire. It's not surprising the game has wear if the employees were using it.

It all depends on what the game is worth to you. If the game has been owned by one of the cast members of the movie I could see it adding value, but someone who is in no way connected to the movie...hmmm......

somebody give me the quick explantion of HUO?

HUO= Home Use Only. of course you would assume that a game that spent it's whole life in a home would be in better condition than a game that was on location in an arcade for most of it's life but, HUO really doesn't specify weather the game was used in a home that treated the game well or in one where it was abused.

Now i know, and knowing is half the battle. Thanks Mr!

is it worth 2.5K???

It's absolutely worth $2,500 - don't listen to KLOV. It could be $500 and still complain "IN THIS ECONOMY !#%@#$%#$%"

It's never seen an arcade and has a 25" Amplifone in it - $2,500 seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Garfield is horrible. Not funny in the least. In fact the only way Garfield is even remotely funny is when you remove Garfield:

I disagree - having Garfield in there making the typical 'fuck you - it's all about me' cat poses made it "funnier."

Granted - Garfield is no Farside - but when you're a kid - it's funny stuff.

I have one that was HUO...and that one pictured seems to be in pretty nice shape too...For a working one with 25" Amp. still intact that is going rate...even if the cheap asses on here don't want to believe it..:D
