I'm planning to make a run Saturday for a Star Wars cockpit. Given that it's going to be about a 4 hour trip each way, I wanted to get an enclosed trailer to protect it (good ol' MI weather). I have a 6x12 UHaul cargo trailer reserved but I just noticed a mistake I made when looking at the trailer's door height. It's the biggest enclosed trailer they have and the door opening is 4'10" high. According to what I've found online, the cockpit is 59 1/2" tall so about 4'9" high. That's obviously waaay close given how accurate those measurements are so I'm hoping taking the canopy off would make it easier. Can anyone tell me the height of a Star Wars cockpit minus the canopy? Even better has anyone used the 6x12 UHaul trailers to move one? Looks like it's just some security torx type bolts holding the canopy on.
