Picked up a Star Wars Cockpit missing it's canopy. It has all the other unique exterior parts in fairly good condition.

Not likely I will find a canopy for sale any time soon.

Would like to try and make a new one for it, just wondering if anyone on here has any of the following, or knows where I can obtain :

- smoked plexi pieces for the canopy
- accurate plans or templates for the canopy pieces

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Are you after the layered wooden arches?
Is that what you mean?

I used to own a cockpit and traced them arches for a few friends

I can find out if they still have the tracings

I remember there was some pain involved making the beveled inset areas

There was a solution I recall

The tracing method worked well? I do have some access to a complete cabinet.... I could try that tracing method. I wonder what type of paper would work best?

The plans here might help.....

If you need something checked against a cockpit, I can do that as well. If you see problems with the plans, please LMK so I can get them updated.

Thank you

Wonder if there is any way to get the .crv or .dxf files converted in a way that allows you to print off a life sized blueprint?

Then it would just be a nice template.
