Hello to all!
Just did the full Cap kit on my WG-6100 "The big kit" and the picture looks Sooo good! Just wanted to know if by chance if anyone knows If the size of the picture can be adjusted from the board..PCB??? My Score and hits are just off the top of the screen. If it can be adjusted what pot on the board will do it? Thanks all for the help. :) And yes I have the manual. And the X-Y display book. Just thought someone may know.

copy

Copy! The Bip Test! "The line width should be 1/8-inch or less. If not, adjust the X/Y bipolar offset potentiometers located in the digital-to-analog converter and bipolar current sources circuit on the Analog Vector-Generator PCB" This info is found on the 2-7 page of the Star Wars operators Manual.

Or, X/Y pots would work :)

:)

I was having some problems with my Star Wars, but I changed the big blue and that was it. I thought what the hell and ordered the big monitor kit from Bob R "which is a bunch of cap and parts" and after I checked it all about 100 times I pluged it in. :) I will say this always make sure to do a Continuity test on the 2N3716 & 2N3792 Transistors after you replace them. I had one that was bad that I had to re-do. I will say one thing that helped with me was a little note I found. "All the 2n3716s are connected to yellow, green and red wires and all the 2n3792s are connected to the purple, blue and white wires". This will help when you can't see the side of the monitor cage. When doing the kit Bob R has good info with his monitor maping and him Monitor ID page.

Just a few thing that I found that were cool!
I also had to re-build my atari power supply! My fuse holder was bad! Also took out the 3A-MDA3501 rectifier and stuck a new one in. Bob also has the parts. :)http://www.therealbobroberts.net/atarikit.jpg
Hey!! Good luck to all the those that have Star Wars games!!!!!

Well I just have to say if you want to change the picture size it's the X center and Y center.
Make sure to do all the tests. After the Bip test the picture was AAAA+++++. I did some more work on the power supply and after I finished I thought I would play a game. I was able to get a new High. No more ObI :) Man I love My Star Wars game. Star Wars game 2727 back in service :)
