Page 10 of the operator manual. I'm not sure what Wedge means though.
LUKE: RED 5 standing by
LUKE: R2, try and increase the power.
LUKE: This is RED 5, I'm going in.
LUKE I'm hit but not bad, R2 see what you
can do with it.
LUKE: I've lost R2.
LUKE: I can't shake him!
DARTH: I'm on the leader.
DARTH: The FORCE is strong with this one.
DARTH: I have you now!
DARTH: Stay in attack formation.
BEN: Use the FORCE, LUKE.
BEN: Remember, the FORCE will be with
you, always.
BEN: LUKE, trust me.
BEN: Let go ,LUKE.
HAN: Yahoo! You're all clear, kid.
HAN: Great shot kid! That was one in a
million.
WEDGE*: Look at the size of that thing!
R2: Yes.
R2: No.
R2: I agree.
R2: Sequence completion.
R2: Ouch!
R2: That really hurt.
Don't know what Wedge means.. Perhaps you should school yourself on the first movie.
Wedge Antilles, AKA Red 2, is Luke's friend
Red 2~ "Look at the size of that thing!"
Red Leader~ "Cut the Chatter Red 2!"

Wasn't there some hidden sounds that aren't used in the game but they are on the board?
If you want to hear the Star Wars sound board in test mode I made a video when I was troubleshooting my Star Wars sound board.
Sam i bought a spare star wars board set from a member here and when i went to test it today i am getting the same thing. I get load pops in the speaker in test mod and no voices, i get all the other sounds. I tried your test trick with the jumpers on the sound board and was getting the same results as you. Did you ever find a fix for this?
Thanks for post your video's others have been helpful as well,
Braido...
There is a George Lucas rom mod where Darth Vader says "Nooooooooo" right before the death star blows up.
Yes I sure did get my sound board fixed.
It's all in this post complete with more videos

Wile I am sure the no speech problem can be caused by other things, in my case it was a bad IC at 2F (CD4069 or 74C04))which supply's the Speech synthesizer chip with it's clock signal. If you have a logic probe you can test the pins of that chip which I did in my video. I showed what each pin did on a working board and a board missing the speech. You may also want to put the Speech synthesizer chip at 1C/D,in a working board just to rule out a bad chip.
Let us know what you find out, I am sure we can help you figure it out.
