Why is it you look so hard for some machines, and as soon as you find one they start falling from the sky.

I purchased a Star Wars project and a Tron Project a few weeks ago. Tomorrow Im going to get another Tron:eek:

Funny thing happend today a guy came over to look at my Monday night football pinball that I had for sale. He left with the Pinball plus some extra cash.
and I get this near Mint Star Wars with clay's ESB kit in it. Funny it has a ESB marquee, not sure if I will change that.

Nice score... Why can't I get that lucky? I can't find a star wars OR a Tron in Florida to save me...

I have been looking for both for a few years. There was a Star Wars in Idaho last year that I should have grabbed. Tron was just as hard. Im going on a game run tomorrow Tron and a Missile Command mini will be coming home. The Tron is another project.

Star Wars has alway been on top of the Grail list. The one I got a few weeks ago. Has a nice working Monitor and ps. I was getting ready to send the boards off for repair. But now Im not sure what to do with it now. I offered it to Fullthrottle first, because I know he wants one bad. If Karl does not end up getting it. I will be putting it up for sale. I have no need for 2.

It's a bit further than I'd like to travel, but when you figure out what you want to do with the star wars situation, please let me know. Maybe we can work it out. As you can see from my sig it's one of my most wanted.

That's weird- when I got my TRON, there was no SW lying behind it. Or maybe I didn't look hard enough?

I will let you know if Fullthrottle does not pick it up:)

:)

I don't have room or money for another game, but, it is a Star Wars and I've only been looking for 3 years... looks like the pinball I repaired last night will be morphing into a Star Wars!

Sorry guys, its within my 1200 mile range and don't hold your breath if you're one of the guys on the waiting list... :p

That's pretty sweet that it's got Clay's kit in it. I can't find that kit anywhere.

So, do you plan on selling your other Tron project as well? If so, how much? :)

Not sure yet, I might restore both at the same time. I was thinking about contacting the local theater at the mall. Might put one on display there when the new movie comes out. behind ropes of course.

Not a bad idea at all, go for it and ask the theater to pay you rental fee.

Behind ropes? Behind damn iron bars! You know every damn kid at the theater would flock to that game and want to play it.And of course a majority of them would be rough as hell on it.

I know It might not work. Would be cool if they could secure it. I have until December. I have a long way to go.

All I can say is have fun with that inner shroud...it sucks. And by the time you pay for the printer's services, you probably won't be saving much over Phoenix's kit. I honestly wouldn't waste your time.

You might be right. I have all the vector files. Im going to price it first, if its not alot cheaper, I will go with the Phoenix kit. I have to go there anyway to print a new Lunar Lander CPO!!

Behind ropes dude? Really?

It's a game.

If you have the opportunity to put a game on location like that for a limited amount of time, why not use that as a chance to let younger people experience what the good ole days were like?

I mean really. What is the worst that could happen to a game in a theater like that? If something gets damaged or scratched, what's the most that could cost? It's not exactly a rare game.

These games were made for real use. Let them live out in their habitat!
