I recently saw the pics of this game and I have to say I am curious about it. I like the ST universe so I was considering looking for one. Have any of you played it and if so how good/bad is it???

i like it, but then again im a sucker for games like that. It its the big version, then its HUGE not just big...

seems to be a common prob with the monitor smoking the video card in the pc or vise-versa..

I love it but then I love anything and everything when it comes to Star Trek. It's like House of the dead but in the Star Trek Universe. The 2 seat cockpit is huge, it's almost like a shuttle craft, I am 5'4" and can stand up in it with head room to spare. I just wish my game room was bigger but don't we all. :D

What's the measurements of that sit down cab?

Here ya go

Anything that shows off Jeri Ryan's rack is good enough for me!

Yah, I was looking thru pics of some of the sitdown versions, I see some OPs censored her rack with stickers and by cutting out parts of her anatomy.

Sad, the way they defaced those cabs....

There's one at a local fun-center here. It's the only game that costs 1 token. It's pretty good but gets old fast, imo. We kept playing because we kept winning extra credits. I might consider owning a UR of it. The sitdown version is neat but not critical to the experience.

I own it. I like it because it's a FPS and it is Star Trek.
The Rack is awesome too... just wish they would have done something better with the art.

Game play is repeative....and with freeplay it's easy to grow tired of the play.
It's predictable and scripted.

Yes, yes, and yes. The rack is good but the artwork could be better and the gameplay is like any other gun game, really easy to get tired of. There is one at the semi-local bowling alley. I am going there later but not to play that. Probly going to rock out on some Addams Family pinball and maybe Nascar.

I played this a couple of times and I really didn't like it. That was back in 2006. I've been a Trek fan most of my life and I even liked Enterprise but I really didn't care for this game. Maybe if the guns were shaped like phasers and if the graphics had looked better for a 2002 game I would have warmed up to it. For me, the original Star Trek arcade game is still the best.

We have full cockpit unit here at Badger. I'm normally a lightgun fan but I really can't get into it. The game feels really unpolished, even for the era... the graphics are pretty subpar, sound is really REALLY cheesy, the music ranges from meh to terrible, and the gameplay feels hammy and repetitive.

I wouldn't bother.

As I predicted, I failed to play the Star Trek Voyage cockpit. I paid for 2 games on Addams Family and won 2 more. Hell, I was just happy to bowl a 126 and 132. I haven't bowled in 3 years. The wife and I shot a couple of games of pool just for fun like we used to do before the kids. Good night. Oh yeah, it was my 35th birthday. Got some great Mex food in me and a bit of booze. Yeah......good times.
