Has anyone contacted anyone that was or is with Sega concerning the sideart films for Star Trek Strategic Operations Simulator? Do they actually still maintain or hold them? I noticed gameongrafix has some inkjet printed artwork, in two segments per side but I'm just guessing the size is going to be smaller than original. Not positive on that at all and I could be wrong.
Just thought I'd ask before reinventing the wheel.

Are you looking for films on the dedicateds or the ones for the conversions?

I think the subtle difference is that you will not see SEGA on the conversion artwork. At first I thought it was a trademark thing on reproduction printings but every conversion cab I have seen was lacking it also.

Well, second message went out. I got some attention from the Sega forum. Hopefully I'll get some sort of reply from Sega.
I'm only shooting for the dedicated Upright version atm. This sideart was approx 30" x 48" and did not come in an upper and lower halves. It was one piece.
Did some checking around and was quoted by a local printer to run it, if illustrator files were available at around 68.00 per side, initial quote, artwork unseen. However, this is in decal/ink form laminated. Not screened art.
And I'm unsure if Sega ran this screened. If they had I am inquiring about films. I left it open ended for any artwork that can be converted to illustrator.
I don't care if I run it myself or not. Just to get access is the issue. If there are professional screeners out there that want the project I'm fine with that.
The only thing I ask is a set for myself.

Couldn't you just bolt one of these to the side of the cabinet instead of the side art? People will know what game it is.

I have a LH side of uninstalled dedicated artwork (I think) for a cabinet I have. I just have to find where I put the art. I also have the conversion artwork (both sides). I also have a dedicated cabinet but the vinyl on it shrank when the game was put in storage. I would guess about 1-2" all around. Pretty weird.

Yea I managed to get all the files collected together. But I don't think these have been rasterized, vectorized or any other 'ized'. They probably need some work, die-cut and printed in the appropriate mil medium.
