Star Trek Captain's Chair (Not Mine) on eBay $19.00 no reserve

What the point of buying it, putting it in your garage, not fixing it, wait 20 years, then sell? I know i have projects looming even now in my peripheral vision. But 20 years? I'd be interested in hearing any back story if somebody here ends up buying it and talks to the seller at pick-up.

Ditto on my Captain's chair. Board went dead, showed no signs of life, didn't know who to go to for repair, so it sat - for over 5 years. Then I discovered this fourm and with some good advice from fellow KLOVers, it sprang back to life bellowing that wonderful Star Trek music! I'm sure that the eBay seller bought it with good intentions but was in over his head as far as repairing it.

On another note, anyone interested in Star Trek Captain's chair should check out the Restoration threads. There has been an amazing restoration there - a must see for those who love attention to detail!

Best of luck to all of the Florida KLOVers bidding on it!

I'm happy to report that Todd31 got it, so it's staying in the KLOV family and best of all, I'll be able to play it once he gets it running! :)

Sweet pickup for sure! I played this at the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas recently, and the chair version of this game is awesome!
