Does anyone know where I can get pics of all six PCBs in a Star Trek boardset? (A Google search turned up nothing).

Documentation on or function of each PCB would also be appreciated.

(If I could figure out how to get the boards out of my cabinet I'd take pics of them myself). :D

Thanks a lot.

Outside of the set in my game I have another set, but it is only four PCBs because the G-80 2716 Prom Board and the CPU Board Assy are missing.

I can't get the PCBs out of the cage. Perhaps I'm not pulling hard enough, but I don't want to break anything. (The screws that secure the cage to the inside of the cabinet turn but don't come out).

The Star Trek manual has pictures of each board.

They are (in no particular order, just like the order of the cards doesn't matter in the passive backplane):

CPU board - it's the board with 40 or so connector pins.
XY timing - connected to the XY control board with a DIP ribbon cable
XY control - see above. Both have a 4 pin connector for the color and deflection signals to the monitor
Eprom board - it's got a bunch of eproms on it :)
Universal sound board - got a bunch of caps and stuff and transistors on it.
Speech board - sparsely populated. There's a small piece of cable that goes from the sound board to the speech board and then on to the plug leading to the power supply/amp.

Thanks,

Alejandromad's pics gave me all that info.

I still need to figure out how to get the PCBs out of the cage.

Do they have those white 'levers' on each side like the ones in my pictures?
If so, they should be popped out of the connector socket they are plugged into at the other end.
Then you pull them out.
They are in little 'tracks' that run down the inside to hold each PCB in place and separated from the others.
They can be very snug.
There are no screws or anything else holding them in... at least not in any of the sets I have seen... about 10 of them so far.
I have a couple more cages full of boards in storage. I can dig one out if need be.

It's good to know that card order isn't important. If I end up with any problems that would make it a little easier to eliminate the cage connections as the issue.

I haven't even tried plugging the game in and turning it on, but hope to get to it soon.

Thanks.

Check your voltages. Check your voltages. Check your voltages. Check your voltages.

This coming from a guy who fried 4 boards. Check out the power supply and measure your voltages. Should be pretty obvious where to measure.
