Hey all!

The blue color output on my Star Trek upright has become a bit flakey of late. I've narrowed it down to the connector that plugs into the CPU board, but can't seem to figure out which of the actual wires (there are 10 going into this connector) is the culprit.

I'm pretty certain that it's the actual wire as I replaced the original IDE connector (in the picture) with a new molex connector last night but this did not fix the problem. And when I squeeze/manipulate the wires themselves (just above where they enter the housing), the color comes back but again, it's just not stable as I need it to be and still goes in and out. Note that I didn't get a chance to pull the board to make sure it's not perhaps just a cracked solder joint on the board itself, but I will do that hopefully tonight and reflow the solder if need be.

If it does indeed turn out to be the wire, does anyone know which of these 10 wires going into this connector (labeled as "P7" on the game) is the actual blue output (so I know which one to try to replace)? I know that one is blue colored already, but from my aforementioned manipulations of this particular wire, I wasn't able to confirm that this is the correct wire fore sure. And I can't seem to find anything online to help with this question, including in the manual...which isn't to say I might have missed it though ;) .

Still, any help is always appreciated.

Thanks,
