Just got a complete replacement plastic kit. There are some pieces I don't have locations for due to them being missing from my machine. I'll have to do some research, but speaking frankly, these pieces are Top-Notch! Got them from Mad-Amusements on Ebay....

It also came with this cool topper...

Once I get locations for the parts I can't find locations for, I'll get started and post some before/after pics. I have a lot of cracked/broken pieces, so these will snaz this thing up pretty good.

Stay tuned!

:)

Got the machine moved to my house from storage at my parents' house and installed the new plastics today. All the pictures will be shown with the before/old plastics first, then the new ones. There is a special custom mod I did by hacking a hallmark Christmas ornament at the end of the pics...

The middle bumper cover was also completely missing from the machine along with the wiring to the light socket. I repaired the wiring and installed a new bumper cover with the correct 3 different decals...

I need to get a couple more screws for the bumper covers as I had to rob some from the other from the existing ones to secure the new one that was missing...

Ok. This was a Hallmark Christmas ornament that sat on a base that housed 3 AA batteries and lit up when you pressed a button on the base. I removed the stand and wired the ship to the GI circuit to light it....

Wow, I didn't realize how faded some of my plastics we're until I saw your pictures.

How did you handle the pieces that are riveted?

Yeah. The incandescents will do that. I simply drilled the rivets out from the back and used screws with nuts in place of re-riveting.

Damn man that thing is looking fresh. Nice job indeed. Like the mod too, so did u just hook it directly up to like a light socket from the GI?

Thanks. No. I wired it to the circuit for the 3 GI lights under the red covers. I soldered the wires to the braided bus runs.

Very nice! They were made by Classic Playfie,d Reproductions. They do nice work in my opinion.

I am sure the game looks much nicer now!

Congrats!

Chris

Wow, congrats on a great looking game!

I've always wanted one of these after playing it at CAX several years ago. Yours looks to be in great shape, especially now. Does that new topper have a light behind it? I saw what looks like a wire running to it. The Enterprise mod is a great one.

Regards,
Tom

Thanks! No, it's not lit.
