ok, so i picked up a nice cab star castle complete, and it works except the moonitor i get noises, heater voltage and chatter any clues?

Turn your lights out and look real close to make sure it's not playing, but really dim. Those tubes get DARK. I'm not sure if you can rejuvenate them or not, but any vector b&w tube swaps right in, I believe.

i was reading that faq and well it has an led on the pcb but she dosent light up , however i get game sounds, is the sound board just running? i can play blind, however the led is dead, i dont think im getting hv, this game died on the spot where i bought it 6 years ago he never touched it.

i also do so happen to have a blk and white amprex tube that will work with that yoke , throwing that out there, the picture tube was replaced in 1982 , thwres a recipt from electronics plus in there from st. louis .

as well i noticed the neon or argon lamps on the pcb are not lighting up wich i believe they should., boys we may have lose wires or cold soldier joints. ima go check.

The Led only lights for a second during power up and goes out, this is normal.

The neons on the monitor should only light when over current or voltage situations exist IIRC.

Sounds as though the HV section may be bad. But you'll need to find a trouble shooting guide for the monitor to check the +-15 volts +5 etc.. There's not many caps on them to replace but you probably should, there are tons of upgrades you can do to the monitor to make it more robust.

i think it may be a bad breaker in my cabinet, i unplugged my boards pushed them in, turned it on and the one arcs, you can here it and occasionally stays pushed inward

she is fixed and runs well , bad 90 volt supoply, was unrepairable bad wire inside keltron , made my own out of a 9 volt and 7 volt wall warts and a bridge and a cap . :). when in doubt temperary cluge then make a pcb for it.
