I got this pretty decent Star Castle here in Anaheim awhile back and want to sell it for 600. It's all there and did come on a couple times. It had a half an image on the monitor and you could start and play the game. I went to get a mirror to adjust it and when I came back the game was no longer functional. The monitor stays on but the board only lights up momentarily and turns right off. Guessing it needs the power supply addressed. Has a nice bezel and marquee, the gel is present on the monitor and the control panel is good. Just looking to pass along this project game to another KLOV person so it'll get the right treatment. PM me with interest.

Great LMK I am kinda of wondering why a nice Star Castle project like this is getting no inquiries. I am going to try the power supply out of my Armor Attack and see if the game comes up. I'll leave a note later today

It's probably tripping the breaker on the Condor power supply. It's a common problem with these games and is almost always related to a failure on the monitor chassis. I'm guessing it's a failure in the HV box.

Monitor problem would be my guess too since he mentioned having half a monitor. I asked about the LED on the board because that is supposed to come on briefly then go off. If that's what he's seeing then it is working correctly.

The led on the game pcb is supposed to come on and go right off

Its the breaker

So I was able to confirm that resetting the breaker does get it to run for a few minutes at a time. So it definitely will need the monitor gone through. I took a video of me turning it on, coining it up and playing it for a few minutes before the breaker trips again. If your interested in seeing it pm me and Ill send it to you.

See this is now on eBay as well. I might be interested, anyone have an idea what the cost would be to get this to Maryland?

Thanks

Edit. Sorry if this sounds like a simple/dumb question. I'm in the UK and have no idea what courier costs across the USA might be.

It would be between 3 and 400(US) to get it to Maryland from my place using NAVL/Beltmann Less for you since you are in the UK(Exchange rate)
