Wow that makes me want to buy a Star Castle! I love that game.
I just have to say that Rich is ONE OF THE BEST in the biz at arcade repo and all around great guy!

Thanks Bill but besides having way too many screened projects on the plate now.
Ive been guaging interest on this for awile now.
But with the color seperations and halftones being very difficult and time consuming, not to mention the cost of generating the films its hard to justify with the qtys needed.
And Honestly the colors in the Star Castle side art are quite "muted" and the solvent produced an almost perfect color match on these to the original.

Yeah thanks Bill without your help and the help of some other a local included whos not on the boards it wouldve been hard to do.
and like I just posted colors are almost spot on.

So why so much for just an inkjet??
I was suprized to get several emails, PMs, and even a phone call on this.
So no Friz you werent the only one
Screening can be cheaper and of higher quaility since your basically "buying in bulk"
but it does take a large investment and hope you can sell that to recoupe all your costs.
to make it a worth while project.
First that was $150 shipped so figure $135 art set and $15 for ship (thats postage and packing)
So besides all that heres how inkjets in general breakdown:
Just about anywhere you go for inkjet printing local, kinkos, fast signs, etc.
charges per sq ft and at last check was on average $8sq ft
I know there are plenty of inkjetters that allready know this and members here who work with outside printing that can testify to that.
So with the being said Star Castle is aprox 3ft x 4ft or 12sq ft which by that calculation
would be $8x 12sqft=$96 for just the one side.
Some places do charge less(of course you always get what you pay for)
System 2 on the other hand is aprox 2ftx4ft 8sqft so its only $64per side
and why we saw a price increase on this last run.

Pretty much every star castle(all cinematronics?) will have damaged side art.. I would email all the people vaps (118) and I would think you could find 20...

I don't have my SC close to me, so wondering if the matte white vinyl you have on the website is a match for the rest of the sides? I would like to redo the entire side, not just the art. Cannot think offhand what the sheen is on it.
