i finally got some work done on my star castle. i actually have 2 of them. one has an ok cabinet but the boards and the monitor are not working. i also found out the power supply is not working either. the other machine worked but the cabinet needs lots of work and is painted flat black. anyway, i completely stripped the black cabinet and swapped everything into the better cab. i still need to fix the sound board and fabricate a back door. if anybody in socal is looking for a star castle project i've got a spare that i dont need anymore.

here is what i ended up with.

Im working on mine now, rebuilding the PS and the monitor, I have working boards, but it will be a long process for me, awesome game, Im guessing Ill have to source a new tube as mine is an amperex, but this is YTBD...yours looks good, play some for me..:D

I'm a huge fan of this game. Looks like a great original classic. Great job combining the best of both to make one really decent one.
thanks, i just wish the black cabinet was in better shape so i could use the extra parts i have to make it an armor attack. i talked to dptwiz and ou flight about buying a new cabinet but the shipping kills the deal. maybe i'll just bite the bullet and build one myself. i have everything to do it and have done it before. i'll just have to wait until my back gets better.

i need a new tube too. my working one is real dim and the other has the center burned thru.

I got the new tube installed and WOW!!!!! Its like a brand new game. This picture is during the day in a sun filled room.

Looks great!

Mine works great, but cabinet is water damaged. Got the repro art that I need to get a DPTWiz cab at some point.
