Hey Rich,

Where are things at with the Star Castle CPO's and side art? I'd sure like to get my original loaner back or a new one soon

CPO UPDATE
I got some orginal panels from Both BW5150 and Arcadeanex over the weekend
First yes they are definatly made from 1/8" plex as will be my silkscreened repros
and have a growing list for those interrested these will be avaiable in just a couple of weeks
and have them ready for production so for those interrested you should shoot me an email
to get added to the list as Im only doing a limited run of these cpos

The side art is in the hands of Mr Rothe so hard to say when that will be ready for me to look at let alone scedule in so we'll just have to see.
Ill be sure to post all updates and have a running email list for those interetsed in the sideart.
for the cpos I would wait on one for the other I only ran 50qty and not likley to do a 2nd run. Not to mention I can roll a plex cpo to ship with side art anyways

I found this pic online and this doesn't look like clear plexi to me

this would be more like a thin clear piece of polycarbonate reverse screened with an adhesive back

a plex piece would be more like a donkey kong

I just love the new one, it's great.

If anyone is ever interested in producing a Rock-Ola version, we can possibly scrape something together since I kept that little piece of the original that has the little ships on it. I started enhancing that section some time ago with intent to vectorize it and it was beginning to look pretty good. Nobody but me seemed interested in it so I never completed it and I didn't have a decent image source for the rest of it. I believe that the rest of the image is the same as the Cine version.

I have a 20MB BMP scan of this image if anyone wants it, but here's a small copy:

This is a project that defenitly will happen for both SideArt and Cpo

Just checking on this... it's been over a year and 4 months... is the side art going to happen or should I just resign to the fact I may have to stick with just paint or (shudder) inkjet (if it's even available)?

the sideart is in Jeffs vectoring hands there is no inkjet version to my knowledge

No announcement yet that I am aware of. It is my understanding that we are waiting on Jeff Rothe to finish up the vector work on the sideart before anyone can print it. Then it comes down to whether there is enough demand for Rich to screen it or just to a high quality inkjet of it.
