Why the ltd time? A man on the inside warned me Paramont watches ST very closely.
hence the abbrevations in the title and on the site. ;)

UPDATE: Well bad news I got a C&D from both Paramount, Sega, and the Gene Rodenbury estate.
on ANY and ALL Star Trek Art and its been pulled from the site.
So for those that allready purchased the sideart its allready been shipped and you can consider yourself one of the lucky ones.
For those that were waiting for other pieces to print Im afraid youll be waiting along time.
Licensing from the studio starts at 20K and the lawsuit mentioned in teh C&D far exceeds that if I continue to sell.

damn that was quick, so im assuming it was because you had it on your website? you should have just left it in the forums

April fools?

well since this one is a goner, can we try our luck with a small run of Return of the Jedi side art instead? :)

Tempting...though completly didnt print process on that one.
But then I could have a matching pair of C&Ds from Lucas and Rodenbury
which would look great framed on the wall next to a copy of my restraining order from Lenard Nimoy :D

Regarding Nimoy -- sounds like there's a story there.

Share, share!

no story just another joke.

quoting Sheldon/Big Bang thoery when he was so excited about getting a retraining order from Stan Lee, said it would look great next to his restraing order from Nimoy.

It was all a shamless April fools BUMP :D

I did sell 3 more sets, since posting coinedence?
Not to mention its been a little dead around hear lately.

But all joking aside it will always be a possibility of it happening.
which is why I didnt use the "ST" word on the site They are VERY protective of this one
and a man on the inside did send me an early warning ;)

I noticed there is a Member's only thread for restoration projects, artwork, customs, etc. Is that protected from web bots?

If so, do you think it might be a good idea to move the old thread that started this and possibly this thread to a more protected area so that it isn't discovered by GoogleBots or other web scraping utilities?

That April Fools stunt got me thinkin'. So it's just a thought. But then I suppose people don't check that area as much?

yeah is the restoration section protected by password?
if so that would be the best bet.
I will be starting a new thread for dedicated art and that may be the best option.

Like I said I purposely didnt use the "ST" word on the site or on in this post. ;)
As this is evry much a possibily of happening at anytime.
Unfortunatly the intial thread in genseral used just about every tag in the search in the title alone
so it wouldnt take someone long to find that. :(
