The title says it all. My understanding was that it was taking place Aug 7th at the usual location in Belleville Illinois. But, now they have changed the date and location. All they say is that it will be located in Bridgeton Missouri but no exact location has been announced and they bumped the date to Aug 31st (if I am reading it correctly). Has Any body heard Anything.

Why are they doing it on a Tuesday night. I like the fact that the auction is closer to me but, it would make a lot more sense to do it on the weekend. This could in fact really hurt the auction. I will have to ask off work in advance because I work from 11:00 - 8:00 Monday through Friday. It just doesn't make a lot of sense. I wonder if an arcade (like Tilt) persuaded them to change the location and date so they could unload a bunch of stuff?

Woah, I'd have totally been bumming on this because I'm out of town on the 7th. Looks like I will be able to jet up 170 after work and catch this for sure. I wonder why they switched. I recall WAY back in the day, like 2000, they had them out in the shopping center where Bass Pro Shop is in St. Charles.

Whenever they have done it at the Machinist Hall, it seems to have been on a weeknight. I don't think it will hurt the turnout or prices one bit. This will put them right next to St.Charles which is now the most densely populated part of the St.Louis Area. The Bellville auctions were great for those "in the know" but really didn't pull too many home buyers. I bet you see more people and higher prices at this one....

Back when I started attending these things in 2001 or so they would do them on weekdays, think they used that building before.
