My SpyHunter has no sounds...

I hear the Peter Gun music sooooooooooo incredibly faintly, but nothing else. What you guys reckon is causing the issue??? Connectors? If so, which connectors?

I had ALL the boards serviced by CDjump a little while ago, so I highly doubt it's the boards.

K, so fixed the missing game sounds by fixing the connections on the big connector on the cheap Squeak, but I am still missing the Peter Gun music.

Would any of the other smaller connectors on the cheap squeak be the cause of that?

the Midway dual amp can develop bad connections at the bottom large plug too. I've had them with an obnoxious hum and replacing all those pins in the plug fixed it. (should be molex instead of IDC I think)

the Cheap Squeak only plays the Peter Gunn music, as all the other sounds come off the Super Sound I/O board. there's 2 volume pots inside the coin door, one only controls the music. perhaps that pot is just dirty and needs contact cleaner sprayed into it/wiped.

probably also useful, the dual amp board in the Spy Hunter at work had bad solder on one of the amplifiers. reflowing it fixed it. I don't remember if music or sounds were missing, but each amp controls one of those things. if I'm not mistaken the amps can just fail too. unfortunately there's no more Bob Roberts to acquire them easily!
