I was curious if any one knows the production numbers and dates of the Spy Hunter upright game? I have a Spy Hunter upright that I think was made in 1985 based on the dates on the original monitor and power supply and it's serial number is in the 7,900's. Also my game is made of panels from a Black Pyramid pinball game and Pac-Land game that came out in 1984.

I would give you a hard time about your avatar here but with you only having 4 posts in 4 years I don't think there will be much confusion caused. :)

I've finally pulled my Spy Hunter out of storage for the last 3 years and started working on it. I'll change my avatar, I don't want to step on any toes.

No toe stepping, don't worry about it. :)

I'd forgotten how much I liked that song -- thanks!

Not sure if they're lip synching or really playing/singing because of the studio setting but if they're lip synching they're doing a really good job.

Thanks! So far I've installed a new monitor, painted the center of the steering wheel, new capacitors, new ribbon cables and cleaned the 27 years of dirt and dust out. Next up is the power supply rebuild and the battery conversion. I'm trying to find the 3.5mfd 440v oval capacitor that is on the power suitcase.

What monitor did you put in it?

And what are you planning to do for your battery conversion?

Haha, welcome...

Actually, just thought it was a good time to show-off my youtube video embedding prowess. Hot dang! High five!

Yeah, the one guy looks like he's trying hard not to laugh... yeah, good one...

I installed a Wells Gardner 19k7203, it looks great. For the battery conversion I bought a Bob Roberts kit with the CR2032 lithium battery.
