Spy hunter switcher / battery question....

Gotcha...Thought it had something to do with the board not working unless the jumper was added. I just got my Spy Hunter up and running with a switcher and the cheap squeak is having issues. Thought this might be a fix.

Well, the Jumper was installed by the person i bought it from (recently). I will have another look at it and tell exactly what they did- perhaps - they modified it after the switcher because the cheap squeak was acting up. I will get more details.

Since you're talking about gameplay, I have a question. Do you usually leave it in High, and adjust your speed using the gas pedal? Of course, if you slow down too much you would need to shift into low to get started again. Or do you shift from low to high when the action gets tough?

When I played it BITD, I don't even remember using the gas pedal to adjust my speed. It was always floored. My guess is the machine was probably not really calibrated well, and you couldn't get to the fast speeds anyway.

You have to leave it in high and adjust your speed with the gas pedal. In low you have no way of going fast enough to avoid being crashed into by cars from behind and no way of being able to go fast enough to scoot out of many dangerous situations. And you're a complete sitting duck for the sniper.

Every GREAT once in a while I'll deliberately shift down to low but not very often.

do you know the trick how to shoot and kill the bullet proof bullies?

No -- I usually just tap them off the road if they're in front of or beside me or oil slick them if they're behind. IMO they're the least threatening enemy in the game.

How do you shoot them?

andy, will get a pic tomorrow - again, not sure why it was done, it may not be related - i just noticed it was recent and believed it to be related to the switcher update.

Have you contacted arcadeshop to ask about the w3 jumper - if that would help?
