Spy Hunter sit down in Brea CA

Great deal for a great game, it looks like. If you like SH, you'll love the sit down version even more. All the artwork is available too from TOG, and I think eventually we'll even get repro seats.

I go to Brea once a year (every year) to take my (currently) 85 year old grandma to do her taxes. Nice little town/city.

It's probably 30-45 minutes from long beach ca.

Not sure why that matters. It's a driving game and driving games are always better sitting down and you get the 4 channel audio. Plus, does anyone actually prefer uprights over sit downs if space is no issue? It has more of a coolness factor than the UR IMO.

space is always at least somewhat of an issues, regardless of how much of it you have. Are you honestly saying you'd prefer a cockpit Tapper or Ms. Pac-Man to an upright? To me the whole point of a sitdown is to simulate what you're doing in the game, immersing yourself more in the experience. Spy Hunter doesn't work in that regard because your perspective is completely wrong and negates the reason why you're sitting down at all

Last I checked Tapper and Ms Pac aren't driving games. Regardless of "perspective", when was the last time you drove a car standing up? That's my point here.

I see your point but the sit down version of this game was hugely popular back in the day. I did not even know there was an upright version until years later. Nowadays in the collecting world the upright is super common but these cockpits seem a lot harder to find. There is definitely a market for this game and for $200 and in working condition, it's a great deal...

Sitting down to turn a steering wheel, work a shifter, and step on a gas pedal feels a heck of a lot more natural in a cockpit vs. standing up, regardless of the on screen perspective.

You are right

You are right the linear power bard has a bad burn mark on it. No any place that I can buy one?

There was just someone on KLOV that was looking to sell one in the last week. You'll have to search for it as I'm too lazy. :)
