Just picked up a non working spy hunter U/R. I noticed it had an ssio board W/panning. Is that going to work or do I need to find. A regular ssio board?

paul, i have a working upright, and i am pretty good with mcr boards (not an expert), but can always take a look at.

does it not do anything at all?

yeah, time for the bench, probably bad ram/roms etc.

if you checked the voltages, and there fine, stuff the board + the Cheap Squeek in an antistac bag and bring it with you tommorrow night, i will grab from you and look at it over the weekend.

thankyou. i will see ya at the party.

The panning board will work fine, the panning option is for a 4 channel\speaker games like EDOT or a SH cockpit. Your boardset might have originally been in a cockpit game at one time.
