Hi, Everyone.

I started collecting arcade games with the hope of having a functional spy hunter. Many games, later, I am close to reaching this goal.

I have all of the parts, including many spares, to give this a go. I have a plywood cabinet I built, a couple of control panels, one set of boards, a couple wiring harnesses, an empty candidate and a deconstructed original cabinet which would be perfect for template making.

Before I fire this up, I was hoping to get some advice regarding test points as I don't want to fry anything.

I have the original suitcase power supply, with a recently replaced line filter. I believe this should be fully operational. Can someone point me to a good resource that would allow me to double check the voltages here?

Thanks in advance,
-Brian

look at the pinout of the logic board for the +5vdc input so you can test the +5 volts dc
do the same for the +12 volts too since you're there
don't use earth ground, you want the logic ground for the negative lead of your multimeter
that will tell you what the output of the power supply is at
if its low turn it up and if its high, turn it down. if its high then maybe the board has broken components due to too high +5v
