I seems to have a junk yard in the lower right hand side of the monitor at all times, even in test mode. Anyone have any input before I do what I should and send it to someone who can figure it out? I already changed the interconnect cables and that didn't help. I reseated anything that was socketed.

Thanks!

Edit: Yikes, for some reason this got double posted. Sorry about that.

Have you checked the voltages?
Cleaned all the connectors?
Checked the numerous ground straps?
Re-capped the PCBs?
Monitor syncing / wiring and ground?

Yes to everything besides recapping the PCBs. I did replace the giant caps on the bottom of the cab though.

Bad RAM chip?

You can always invite CDJump to this thread or simply send him the boards and he'll fix it.

To check the ram, you could swap them around 2 at a time till you see a difference. That's an interesting error. It seems as if the sprites are all garbled at the bottom right. Wonder what part locates sprites? CPU board or video board? Hmmmm. Make sure the legs are bent slightly in on the chips to ensure continuity as the sockets only have one contact side on the inner edge.

Re-Seat the chips again

I would re-seat the chips. Look for bent legs or broken. I know it sounds crazy but I've been down that road before. As I re-seat, I noticed a bent leg. Also, make sure you put the program roms in the right sockets.
