Hey folks,
Just picked up a SH upright that I'm taking apart, cleaning, and knocking the rust out of at the moment. I'm certain that I'm probably missing something simple, but the gear shift bushing doesn't seem to have any noticeable way to remove it from the shaft.
Checking the manual, it looks like the assembly at one time involved a screw in this bushing (part 23), but looking at the parts list, it is listed as "Not used". Indeed, there is just a solid piece of metal going through it with no screw.
How does this thing come apart?
Thanks.
