Spy Hunter cockpit: interest in floor mat reproduction?

I am discussing the possibility of reproducing the Spy Hunter cockpit floor mat with Rich and we'd like to gauge interest in such an item. I hear that the original is actually a steel plate but Rich is suggesting that the cost-effective way to repro it would be polycarbonate, which I'd be perfectly happy with (because I have no floor mat at all!).

Please speak up if you have interest in this item.

Just curious, is there any art on the bottom side ? I busted up a Spy Hunter sd one time & the bottom side had edot artwork on it making me believe that they chopped up & recycled edots for spy hunters at the factory.

That would be intresting are you reffering to the circluar floormat?
Since that is printed on a polycarbonate

Not the mat but the actual floor board itself. I`ve got a pic somewhere i`ll try & post.

Found the pix.

Wow I got a pic just like that.
I would think that most of them would be pretty messed up. All the people dragging their feet across them getting into and out of the machine.
Mine looks ok so I will have to pass
Thanks

Good news people. Looks like this is a go, as is full side art. Rich came by yesterday to get some traces of the side art, and blinddog is kindly sending his floor mat down with osver, who is bringing me a kick man I bought from one of the Seattle folk. :)

That's so weird, Discs of Tron panel on the bottom of the seat. Mine has some kind of artwork, but not sure from what game.

Odd that they would bust up a Discs of Tron since it was new at the time.
