My Spy Hunter is my game that just loves to test me.(getting to the point of giving up on it) I put another working board in it and it worked great for for a few hours but when I turned it on again I got this. Now when I checked the power supply it was 7 volts and I turned it down to 5 v. One friend said the power supply is bad another said the is board bad. I am thinking @ 7 v I killed ANOTHER board.
Any input would be help full.
Thanks
Bill

There is the big block power supply and the voltage regulator card. The 5 volts adjust from the card. I guess turning it down to 5 volts did not fix the game?
I would guess the card.

By the way, all spy hunters like to test their owners

Mine is pretty well behaved, really.

Came a bit frakked up from a slimebag Ebay seller but once it was fixed up it's stayed fixed up.

Throw another linear power board in there -- they can be had for $35-$55 pretty easily.

I just got a power board from TNT, and it works great. I think I saw a few of his on ebay for $55.

for what it's worth I have also seen that screen when the large caps on the power brick are going bad. This could also explain the linear power board checking at 5v then going up to 7v.

+1, If you have not changed these out, then it is worth doing at this time also.
