I purchased the game from a guy on Minneapolis CL with NO PROBLEMS (believe it or not) in the middle of October. He actually held it for me until Andre (rhombus) went over to his place the next day to check it out. Andre delivered it the day of my big party. Well I finally got it cleaned up and the monitor adjusted correctly (thanks Alan173).

I also took apart the control panel and cleaned up 35 years of filth from the shifter mechs and steering wheels. I put a light coat of synthetic lube where needed, and the shifters are nice and smooth as well as the steering wheels. It does have it's battle scars throughout, but that's fine with me. None of my games are perfect.

Alan R. (Alan173) gave me a really nice replacement shifter bezel; car #2's bezel was cracked in half with 1/2 missing. It looked terrible and was loose to boot from missing 2 of the hold down screws. Thank you Alan, you rock! I'm always amazed at the generosity of some of our fellow members here.

I moved it into place on the north wall of the smaller side of my arcade. Damn I'm happy with it. I had been looking for one for over a decade. Welcome home Sprint 2....

Awesome game.

Your game room creeps me the fuck out though lol.

The lunchroom style leaderboard is pretty sweet though, where'd you get that?

Sorry you're a little creeped out! lol

If you met the pilots you'd find they're pretty good guys....

The high score board I got for FREE at a garage sale. It's 2ft x 4ft.

Sprint II is a great game. My teenage daughter and her friends love playing our Sprint II, which says a lot about what a great game it is. I put so many quarters into that game at the roller skating rink when I was a kid. Stepping on the gas pedal with skates on was a challenge!

So Phet, you've got one hand gently resting on the cab, but what are you doin' with your other one??

I believe John was laying on the stairs under the machine at this time, acting as a human slide. Let's just say I reached under the machine and played a rousing game of tug o war with his peashooter and leave it at that.

Yeah, we'll just leave it at that. Like no other questions or outrage would follow.
