I have come to the realization that i am never going to get to this project.

Its a kee games/atari sprint 2. THe monitor has neckglow and tube glow, but does not show video. The video does work i connected to a test monitor and the graphics look good with no video issues(its just composite video btw) but the controls also have issues, i can explain more if youre interested.

FIgure this as restorable or parts and if its better hey good for you. COmes with the manual and one complete machine.

$150 or trade for other game(s), area 51 boardset, or ????????????

First championship sprint and now sprint 2? When are you going to get a sprint 8 to sell???

Btw, thanks for the championship sprint. I think i'l go play it righg now!

LOL!!! This one is cool man... id really like to do something with it but im never going to get to it and even when i would be done i dont have a place for a big 2 player like this.

Dont like the price? make me an offer! DOnt have any cash? Offer me a trade!! Forgot to add i might trade for a hand style foid item.

You have one too? I know a local who has one with a totally dead boardset.

With a working monitor this would make a good museum piece, something to have on and look cool in demo mode lol..

zwhat you have to trade me?

This looks like a fun project. Too bad I have way too many projects right now. I would love to take it off your hands for $150 but my wife would kill me. I have a large outbuilding but I am just afraid to try and store anything like an arcade game in it for any length of time for fear of moisture damage just from the humidity. Just keep it for one more season and then I can get it. ;-)

This game is a ton of fun at parties or against other people. It's something your mother or grandmother could play against one of your kids :D. Hopefully someone saves this one and gives it a little love so it will last another 36 years.

if someebody has serious interest i can get pics.

Board powers on craphics look great with a test monitor. One car will only go right. THe other car is in a constant state of swerving back and fourth.

THe cp does have some jerry rigged optos so im not sure if that is the issue or if the controls issue is in the pcb itself.

WHen i first got this working the car that only goes right was fully working but i left the game on all weekend by accident and now, only goes right.

Cab is swelled on the bottom, only noticable when you look at the tmoulding, repairable not falling apart. Again i will get pics if i get serious interest. Im not looking to get rich off of this but i had to save it and bezel and sideart is too nice just to part it. I guess this is one of the rare ones that has a boaedset that still shows signs of life.

"The game is packaged in its own distictively-styled upright cabinet that rests directly on the floor."

I guess some swelling is to be expected when you have been sitting directly on the floor for 35 years.
