I was playing Monopoly pinball at a semi-local bowling alley as I often do. I ignored all the other games as the lineup seldom changes. I happened to look behind me and large as life stood a wide body Mario Bros. I nearly crapped myself. That place hasn't had a classic game in it since the Ms. Pac left about 6 years ago. I was really surprised to even see a classic era game as its mostly drivers and 3 pins with some cranes. This is King's Lanes in Norfolk, NE if anyone is passing through. The Mario looks to be in great shape for its age. It has some issues but it does play. The marquee light is out and the right side art is missing but the left side looks really good. Most of the sounds are missing. It makes the coin up noise and the walking and sliding sounds but no other noises and no music between levels. The lives are cranked all the way up. I haven't played that game in forever so I only got to phase 7. I haven't seen a Mario Bros. on location in over 30 years. One of my favorite games BITD. I would love to have one in a blue cabinet as that is how I remember playing it but just seeing this guy in the wild with other games was a blast.

Rad.

Buttons look original. That's worth the cost of admission right there.

Mario Bros is one of the best simultaneous arcade games made. Especially on the Wide Body.

Lot's of strategy to that game and teamwork is required.

As a matter of fact, I was just playing on mine after work today.

I thought about it. Its been there only a week (wasn't there last saturday) and it does have some money in it. I heard my quarter clink, so somebody has been playing it. I am just glad to see something like that back in circulation.
