I am switching my Blitz 99 to a sportstation. I have installed the vegas board. The joysticks are not working. I read people had this issue before. What is the fix? I have only connected player 3 and player 4 from the harness.

It has 49 way joysticks and the board in the cp. Blitz 99 was working 100%. I have touched nothing other than swaping out the boards.

There are other harness connections used on the seattle board that I don't used on the vegas board. For example the coin door and aux.

As mentioned ensure your dipswitch settings are correct.
The Vegas boards - player 3 and player 4 are physical header connections on the Vegas board while Player 1 and Player 2 are actually connected via the JAMMA harness (which btw your current harness probably doesn't even have connections for Player 1 and Player2 present) so you'll need to get another harness. The I40 board is not needed so if you don't have it no worries. There is a guy on eBay who sells the NOS Sportstation JAMMA harness. Get ready to do some soldering and possible monitor connection modifications. It's not a slam dunk process.

Also check joy setting in game setup (test mode).

See if it is set for 2 player or 4 player too.

Didn't you say back in May, that if you had a 4 player blitz 99 your golden and just to swap the boards?

Not to bump an old thread, but I just did the same thing. Yes, you can just swap out the boards and it will work.

However, you do need the I-40 AND Aux adapter Happ #04-12652. Yes you can hack up your own adapter and solder some wires together and whatnot, but essentially you will need it. Happ sells them, and they aren't that expensive so it doesn't make sense not to pick one up. Other than the JAMMA connection, all you need is the Player 3, Player 4, and Aux Out connectors - all of which are the same when you have a dedicated Blitz '99 cabinet. For those who haven't done this already, if you do have a dedicated '99, you have to be smart about how you mount the boards.
