I will check, I only had the CHD Image from the one in the MAME set, which is? can anyone help with uploading or sending me the files to burn to a HD so I can see if this is the problem? I appreciate all the help so far with trying to get this going

Jeremy here. You stated earlier that your Security chip (bar code one) says "showtime" on it. To use a 3.0 HD you need to have a pic chip that says "showtime gold". I believe ur pic chip is only for Showtime not a combo board.

Ok the problem is the chip on the JAMMA board is missing its label, the sticker on the top board has the following :
109 (in the top left corner)
SHOWTIME GOLD
109400005
and also on the bottom board at U19 has a sec chip? A-229911?

You can try to find a 1.5 Sportstation CHD as that might work, mine reads Blitz 2000 and it worked with 1.5. It's a long shot, but you can try it.
Unfortunately I can't confirm whether or not the version in MAME is 1.5, as I can't seem to find it anywhere.
any help is good, does the HD have to be set to master/slave or cable select? does that make any difference, could the chip that is missing the sticker have been erased over time? with sunlight? can any burn new chips for this game ?

Mame Version works with the Blitz2k Security Chip (confirmed).

HD needs to be master, and I can burn the chips as well most here. Also, Toplessz has kits for sale too (been MIA lately).

well I got it to work, not really sure how but went thru all the HD's I had here again and made sure all on master, and voila! its working, its a Showtime 3.0 with Development Pic? whatever that means, it has a serial of 40005, not sure what that means, but plays great, I think I will clone the HD before I play too much of it, just to be safe, thanks again for all the help on this, and I learnt a lot as well, just waiting on getting the Battery in
sorry for the late reply, Im in army flight school and I dont have alot of free time right now. Im currently not selling any sportstation or vegas chips(I dont have time to test and burn stuff, Im only selling the stuff I already have burned and tested) , so Im glad you got it all worked out.
