So I got this which looks like a big pot to me but I believe it's a motor that turns a spool in my Bally Sub-Pack EM game. I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier but it dawned on me that the game had another spool to give a bubble effect.
Once I tore into it I found this motor and two burnt out bulbs for this spool light. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to get a new one? I'm going to head to Radio Shack but the kids there are usually no help. Thanks :)

I think I may have a lead, these look exactly like dryer timer Motors. In fact when I look online some of the numbers are all the same with the exception of the Turning sprocket and a slightly different spot. I think I'll go down to my appliance stores and see if they have anything

Yep I just found one and it works I'm probably in the next couple of days going to put it back in the machine. My other issue with finding an O-ring that work for it. But I got one of those too so it looks like I'll be a go very soon

If the o ring is just hard you may try softening it up.

a mixture of 30% wintergreen oil (methyl salicylate) and 70% xylene to restore old rubber

If you can not find the right o ring, you might want to try your hand on making one yourself with Sugru which air dries.

For larger rubber parts you may want to try versmold. Versmold need to be baked to set.
