Hey gang,
So up until now, all of my restores have been on newer cabs without significant wood damage. So I'm a noob when it comes to wood repair.
Enter this Dig-dug cocktail I'm looking to restore. Upon removing the molding from the lid, I've noticed that the wood is splitting down the groove, and since the cab has been out doors (but covered, thankfully) for a number of years, it has caused the lid to warp at the corners.
Is there a standard way of handling this? Like, can I pour glue in there and clamp it or something? Or should I spend my time looking for a replacement lid instead?
