Does anyone have any pics of a Splatterhouse cab.? The only one I can find is the one on the KLOV list. Post em' if you got em'

it's a conversion kit.
it does not have a specific cabinet,
it infects its host, covers it in
black goo and continues to feed off
its blood. figuratively, of course.

Sorry, didn't know it was only in kit form. Thanks for the info

I still would like to see any pics of the side art, control panel and bezel.

BTW, I have seen pics of "instruction cards" that are in Japanese. What were the purpose of these and were there any in English?

Thanks!

Well I just realized that the pic on KLOV.com is of a converted Tapper cab. I recognized the armrest things when I went to an arcade shop recently and sure enough the bezel on the one on KLOV is a Tapper. Now I have no photo of a bezel to try and copy. Seriously, if you have any pics or even remember what it might have looked like, post it!

there is no bezel no sideart kit only came with a marquee ane a cpo -cpo only had pictures of stairs leading to a old creepy door bezel shown on klov is a tapper glass bezel

Thanks for the info! No sideart will make my life alot easier. The control panel I already assumed that "custom" will be my only option. But no bezel, I'm dissapointed in Namco

yeah i have never seen a cpo for this game except what is shown on klov. i quested for this piece when i owned the board it pretty much doesnt exist. the marquees pop up from time to time guess i should have saved mine i threw it in the trash after the board died

There is a marquee that was taken off a Splatterhouse conversion on EBay. It doesn't look like the one in the KLOV pics, but I know it came off a Splatterhouse conversion because I was the one that took it off the cabinet. Don't bother asking about the boards, as those have been sold already. Whoever did the conversion didn't bother with the conversion CPO either. It was just a blood red vinyl sheet under plexiglas.

Although I have never seen a splatterhouse in person and fully acknowledge that some of the info in the archives is incorrect, this is a quote from the archives regarding the side art.

"Cabinet Information
The side art shows Rick chopping a monster."

Here's an ebay post for a supposed splatterhouse marquee:

I've actually seen one of these on another cabinet, but I didn't know it was splatterhouse. I got pics of that cab, I'll see if I had a shot of the CPO as well.

Here's the link to the ebay site.

It could be a generic marquee produced by someone close? I've always wanted to find out what was in this cab...
That auction is from Humble Tx, and I'm in Houston Tx. Here's a pic of the cabinet that I saw that marquee on, and it's not the same cabinet.

I don't believe this is the side art but it matches the description best of all the stuff I found. Actually there are a lot of good images if you did want to make custom side art.

the machine pictured is not a splatterhouse it is something else what i dont know possibly--- a bootleg --- the other artwork pictured came from a splatterhouse website it is custom very neat though. maybe from turbo graphics 16 or sega

Here is something you may find useful. When I was gutting the Spaltterhouse conversion I found the operators manual for it. It was in pretty bad shape, but I scanned it in and cleaned it up as best I could. I did take some screen shots before I pulled the wiring and the cards. If there is any interest, I can try posting some of them.

Yes, absolutely post them. I have never even seen any manual scans other than the dip switch settings. If you have an actuall manual, I might be interested in buying it, if it is for sale that is.
