I tried hooking it up to the right and left on the JAMMA harness (and hooking in +5 and GND) but it didn't seem to work. I don't know for sure this PCB works though so I'm not sure if I'm hooking it up right and the PCB doesn't' work or if I'm hooking it up wrong. I KNOW the spinner works since I hooked it up the same way to a diff spinner PCB (Brick Zone) and it worked great.

Anyone know for sure how the spinner should hookup on an Arkanoid: Revenge of DOH? (and yes, i looked at the manual online but it wasn't helpful)

Yes, L/R is correct. Check the 1458 on the PCB.

Edit: or even better, sell it to me as-is. :)

No chance - I'm going to make my empty V JAMMA cab a "dedicated" Arkanoid2/spinner cab " :)

You'll need this then:

Left, Right, +5v, and Ground is correct. Make sure you have them in the right order

I had a problem with one of my spinners. Turned out to be a bad optic board. (it was NOS as well but didn't work)

Ok - will have to try again then. I hacked it in sloppily just to test - maybe something wasn't making a good connection. Will revisit over the weekend :) At least I know I was doing it right. Either a wire wasn't making a connection or the PCB has a control problem.

Thanks!

I like that custom bezel alot but I feel that the instruction card looks funny with a vertical orientation. I've seen three variations of the control panel overlay, that one in the photo

also, the generic romstar in blue (which I have a NOS one of those laying around some where.) Also ive seen the one where it looks like mainly yellow with it centered in the middle with blue streak things...
