Spiderman/Comic fans limited Romita picture question

Anyone hardcore Spiderman or Spiderman comic experts out there? Acquired a limited edition picture with hand drawn image John Romita. Thoughts?

Cool..i wouldnt mind owning that...i was a hard core collector..i have 3,000 bagged/boarded. My collection ranges from 1974 to around when OMD was released...with the main consistant runs being 1982 thru 1986....then 1990 thru 1995.

OMD ("one more day" for those not in the know...the issue where peter and mj make a deal with mephisto to erase their marriage in order to save aunt may from dying...that one issue recon'ed the previous 30 yrs of spider-man stories to where mj and peter were practically strangers to each other. I was done after that. I never cracked open another comic since. I still have all of my comics stored away in 2 closets in 17 long white boxes.

Todd mcfarlane was the best spidey artist imo....john romita jr. comes in second.

Glad you still have your collection!

Any insight on this picture I don't know much about it yet?

Agreed. However, I did read past OMD hoping they would revert back the story (as comics do) but I couldn't take it anymore after the 4th reboot of ASM. I stopped collecting about a year ago. Which is a shame as I have a straight run from the original #19 up until issue 20 of the current series. Still pissed they rebooted everything. What's wrong with issues going as high as 800, 900, etc. kids today should know where the stories started. You have other Spider Man titles for the new generations if they don't like the original.

McFarlane Spider Man will always be my favorite. The mount of detail he put in his art is still unmatched today.
