From your Galaga monitor to that ARII power supply...

It's essentially the NAMCO Arcade chain's tech shop
now open to the public.

Repair rate is $80/hr (1hr minimum)

I'm very interested to see how this large scale
service can impact the collector crowd.

$80 minimum to fix anything. That is a bit steep for most stuff.

I asked them if they work on Ivan Stewart boards and they said no because, "It is a very old game".

I'm guessing a lot of you might get the same answer.

Sorry, guys.
I saw the following lines and assumed they
would repair most anything:

"Our experience ranges from electromechanical pinballs and the first video games all the way to the latest cutting edge amusements available today!"

On monitor repairs: "From 30-year-old Galaga tubes to the latest DVI-input monitors, we can solve just about any problem."

like i said up at the higher post, it says copyright namco on the page. maybe it's just a gag thing.

Its not a gag. They are the tech shop that Namco owns for their service needs for their arcade chain, manufacturing and to support their distributors. If you buy a new arcade game from them or a distributor and it has a warranty problem or one of their arcades they own and operate need a repair, they would send it in to speedys. They have just recently announced that they will now do work for anyone who sends in repairs.
I am guessing at $80 per hour, if you sent in a Galaga board for repair
you would most likely spend $200 with shipping for that repair.
