I'm considering selling or trading off my bally spectrum. It plays great, all of the lights and the sound board works, speech and all. The backglass looks great. I'm not sure what to ask I've seen prices all over the place.

Game is located in Lubbock but I think Noel may be in the area in a few weeks. I'll also be in the DFW area a few times this spring.

thanks for looking

That's a sexy machine, dude. Obligatory "wish I was closer..."

And great job w/ all the detailed pics. If only more people would take the time to provide quality pics like you have.

Good luck w/ your sale.

Great game, I love mine. Prices are all over on it but there are quite a few people who want one and not many out there. Still not an expensive pin though. Good luck, let us know what it goes for. :)

200$!

I'd really love to get ahold of this...the PF wear areas make me sad in the pants but Spectrum is such a damn beautiful machine that it would be worth it to tear it down, touch it up, and hit it with clearcoat.

It's such a specialty game I don't expect CPR will ever run the wood on that one...might get the plastics if someone hands them the vectors on a silver platter. =\

Would love to have this but kind of hard to put a price on it...I'd probably start around 400$ from a buyer perspective, but that's a totally subjective opinion, lol.

You would be hard pressed to find a Spectrum that didn't have some sort of wear on any part of the playfield. This one actually looks nice as compared to others I've seen.

I wouldn't discount CPR playfields just yet. I believe Stu(?) did say he's doing the plastics and I *thought* the playfield was possibly in the queue.

Some things to factor for price.... The rarity for one. I know some people really don't factor this in but for Bally completionists - this is one that's usually missing in their lineup. Another thing to note is the production run. Who kows how many pieces are still out there. (I've been told that most of these were destroyed since the game tanked on location.) And like I said previously, the playfield is nice on this one - another rarity....

You should really remove that old battery off the board before it leaks. It looks like it may have started leaking a little already - see bottom right.

Everything I have seen said that 700 were produced but they only sold 400 of them and scrapped the rest. Casual players just didn't get the game. Mine has a few touch-ups on the PF but I have been hoping CPR gets to making them someday. Fun and unique game. :)

Well, I'm not a Bally collector...both mine are Williams, so there ya go. :)

I would love to own this machine, and like I said, I don't think the playfield wear from what I can see is totally unrepairable. I just don't feel like I have the cash to make a totally appropriate offer. :( Completely dig the mechanics of the game, and the unique way it handles multiple balls.

If you decide on a solid price you want for it, lemme know. I feel like I'm lowballing just throwing stuff out there, and it may be outta my range anyways. Hoping I get to actually play one of these sometime, going to have to look for a virtual pin copy.....

Noel may be out here on Sunday if anyone is interested in this pin.. Drop me a PM and we'll see what we can work out.

Just want to make it clear for anyone interested that I do NOT have an offer pending on this, so offer away. :)
