Hey guys,
I'm thinking about replacing the speakers in my 720. They seem to work, but one is a little dented. There were 2 models available as listed in the manual, one's a 20W 8 ohm (Pioneer) and the other is a 16 ohm (Onk). I have the 16 ohm Onk...not easy to find 16 ohm replacements. Any thoughts on swapping out an 8 ohm instead? Thanks!

If the audio amp was designed to drive 8 Ohm speakers then 8 or 16 Ohm will be fine. Just don't try 4 Ohm speakers in there... you might fry the amp. Make sure the pair are matched (not just impedance, but make/model) or you may get uneven volume levels.

I'll definitely be matching them. I don't see an asterik or anything by the model numbers, or an indication that the speaker type varied by locale/country, so I would think they were interchangeable.
