i might have the chance to get a dedicated space zap for little money, but from what i can tell from the pics now (will get better ones later), there are a lot of parts missing, namely

- one of those yellow buttons (joystick instead)
- color monitor overlay
- monitor bezel
- instruction sticker below the bezel
- pcb cage with the main pcbs

how difficult would it be to get all those parts together eventually? time is not an issue, i have a lot of other projects to work on ...

btw, are those plexi screens on the left and right of the cabinet original? i've seen cabs with and without them, just wondering why they are there and what their function is!

There was a bezel on eBay a few days ago, perhaps its still there. It was expensive, but it was there. I also saw a complete panel on eBay. The plexi sides are original and decorative, perhaps structural as well. The pcb is the same card system used in Gorf & WoW but I've learned that the little sound board is different ~ this game appears to have it...it would be on the front of the aluminum plate attached to coin box. Finding the color overlay might be a problem, but if you can get the game cheap, why not? Space Zap is fun!

it IS still there, but 150 bucks - c'mon, that's totally overprized!

the original flyer doesn't show those plexi sides though!

is it even possible to get a cage with the pcbs inside?

i would need something like that:

this would solve some of the parts problems! i wonder how much this went for ...
