Holy crap, I can't remember the last time I documented a restore/rebuild here. Well, it's time.
I made plans to buy this machine off Jawhn probably close to 5 years ago, maybe more. But I finally picked this machine up last year and I have been scouting out parts to rebuild it ever since. The history is that it was converted to a bootleg Pac Man but luckily they didn't wreck too much of the original stuff. Almost all of the original artwork is intact, but the wiring is a complete mess. The worst part about the whole thing was the original Electrohome V17 monitor was gone, and a Toei color monitor took it's place. Two of the five PCBs plus the cage were also missing as well.
As you can see, they even bolted another isolation transformer to the inside of the cab. So I ripped all that junk out.
When they converted the machine, they were kind enough to not rip all the nearly-unobtainable buttons out, and they were also kind enough to use a genuine Monroe stick, so that'll come in handy for another game somewhere down the line.
