I've got 3 1/2 Space Wars cabinets that I am going to repair and I know there is another on the forums going to be redone. (Please don't part it out)
With that being said, there is a need for replacement artwork to go on the new cabinets as all 3 of mine are damaged/water logged. I need to know if there is any interest besides mine for repro artwork. I can get a scanner and get some hi-res scans of artwork but honestly don't have the technical skills to piece the scans together, clean them up, and then have the art printed. It is a pretty simple piece of art consisting of white block letters on a blue background. I could probably get it printed at a local sign shop allowing Rich to work on more complicated stuff. I'm not a big fan of inkjet but not sure if the limited demand for this art would justify a production run.
Is there anyone that could take any scans I generate and finish them up into something usable? I'm just checking for future planning purposes. I've got 3 Tempests and some Star Wars projects I have to finish first before I can tackle these.
I would need what format to save the scans in, what resolution etc. I'm sure I could teach myself but sometimes it is quicker and better to let somebody else do the work if they are familiar with it. That's how I handle board repairs and woodworking. I know better than to screw something up and get abused for it.
Thoughts? Comments? This hasn't been done has it? I'm not familiar with any artwork that exists.
