Space Paranoids - Anybody building a dedicated SP cabinet???

OK, now that the official version Space Paranoids is available:

http://www.spaceparanoidsonline.com/

Who is going to build or convert themselves a dedicated Space Paranoids cabinet?

Feel free to post pics of your progress and technical details. Or start your own thread and post a link here.

when i went to Flynn's arcade they had several space paranoid machines, they looked like they were in mortal kombat cabs, could have been something else.

Which is the same cabinet as the Pacman Cabarets, which would be easier to find.

I just booted it up on my computer, and although it is neat, I can't help but think that this game would feel kind of awkward in a dedicated cabinet since you have to use a web browser to play the game. Now, if there was a way to get a PC to boot straight into the game and it not be OBVIOUSLY a flash-type configuration, then that would be different...

It's pretty easy to do.

I have set up a PC to boot right into spaceparanoidsonline.com in kiosk mode, so you don't see any browser crap.

I have several cabinets in mind that would work for a dedicated Space Paranoids. It would be nice to figure out exactly what cabinet they used for the movie, but the cabinet shapes that I plan to use will still look cool, even with minimal artwork.

Damn, there was a tank game for $50 bucks or something cheap at the last SC3.

Sounds like a job for DPTWiz! After all, how much luck are we gonna have finding any of these obscure games that Disney originally used? In fact, I just realized something... Disney is responsible for creating the FIRST HELLCADE!!! Think about it... Tron came out YEARS before operators were doing conversions... : )

I won't be building a dedicated cab for this but I will totally be putting it my MAME machine. Does anyone know a good source for Windows Desktop icons that have Recognizers or is there even a proper Space Paranoids icon somwehere out there on the Net?

Found these:

Looks like there's a paranoid icon in that pack too.

Awesome. Now, how do I get a version to run when not connected to the Net? Does anyone know if there is a downloadable version? Heck I'll even pay for it.

Check your temorary internet files.... most of the time you can pull any flash type things from it, and run it directly off the hard drive

Here are a couple of photos of the Space Paranoids cabinets they had at Flynn's Arcade during Comic-Con.

Yup I tried that. All it left was a file called Tron2v8_web.unity3d
I realize I need to install the Unity plugin to make the browser play it, but there doesn't seem to be a way to go to a non-online PC and tell IE to open that Tron2v8_web.unity3d file.
Any other ideas out there?
