the two in red circle are rusted with broken legs.

and they cant be identified as the markings on the two ics have long faded off.

only way i can possible get her working again is to find someone who has this space invaders rodex.

I have no idea what type my SI board is - if it's the rodex or not... But I will take a look when I get home and see if it looks the same, and if so, will try to get you the chip names.

Does the manual not specify what chips are in those spots? That seems weird.

man that would be awesome :)

Ok, I took some pics from the front through the coin door... I don't think it's the same boardset...? :( But let me know if any of the chips from these pics could help.

Hi Baz

I just spent an hour looking through ever PCB pic on crazykong.com

There is nothing like yours

I once figured out what some chips were by elimination

Can you please post a better picture of the corroded chips?

I need to know how many pins. Then we start to eliminate

IE we start looking at a regular SI board and count the chips

And we do an inventory of chips

There are 2 similar chips next to one another, maybe they're just ram for example

It's a start

Also, talk to Theguru on AA, he is the man who assisted in creating many of the roms in MAME today

Also Talk to Womble on AA also, he may have seen one too

A few months back I suggested to you talk to Andrew Welburn, did you get hold of him? (Edited surname)
